Alison McConachie

Alison McConachie studied glass at Edinburgh College of Art and the Royal College of Art, London. She has been a lecturer at the glass department at Edinburgh College of Art since 1979. In recent years, she has developed a series of simple blown glass forms enriched with colour, gold and silver leaf and textured through the glue chip process. Public collections include: National Museums of Scotland, Edinburgh; Glasgow Museums; Victoria & Albert Museum, London.
