Anna Lambert

Genre: Ceramics

Anna Lambert makes handbuilt earthenware. She creates ceramic vessels inspired by nature, often creating vessels with birds or twigs surrounding them and small spoons in the form of leaves or flowers. From simple bowls to complex multiple forms, she aims to present memories of land and seascape in her work. Each piece is constructed individually by pinching, modelling and relief decoration. It is coloured with subtle underglaze washes, oxides and transparent glazes.

Her work can be found in many public collections including Salisbury Art Gallery, Southampton Art Gallery, Cleveland Craft Centre, Middlesborough and Shipley Art Gallery, Gateshead.
