Annie Hewett

Annie studied Graphic Design at St. Martin's School and then went on to study calligraphy which she later taught at Stroud for many years. She has been working with clay since 2000. She has worked with large scale inscriptional projects, using very varied materials. The work of printmakers and textile designers provides much of Annie's inspiration as does her continuing interest in plant forms and typography; lettering often forms an integral part of her work.
