Constructing jewellery from small building block elements Jo Hayes-Ward creates intricate sculptural pieces with an architectural aesthetic. Her award winning designs include spherical and oval forms that on close inspection dissolve into a filigree of shimmering cubes, striking gold and diamond rings that seamlessly interlock, and bold three-dimentional brooches in silver, aluminium and matt stainless steel. Creating her designs in a virtual environment, Jo employs rapid prototyping technology alongside traditional jewellery techniques in the production of her work.
