Ken Eastman

Ken Eastman studied at Edinburgh College of Art (1979-83) and at the Royal College of Art, London (1984-87). He has won many prestigious awards in the field of  ceramics. In 2006, Ken Eastman was invited to work collaboratively with Royal Crown Derby factory. These bone china pieces combine Ken's familiar forms and the classic Derby patterns that have been in production since 1750.

The pieces on our website have been made exclusively for The Scottish Gallery. They are unique, hand decorated, signed pieces made on the factory produced bone china shapes.  They are therefore highly collectable and have been purchased by the National Museums of Scotland, Victoria and Albert Museum and Ulster Musuem.

Public Collections include: Victoria and Albert Museum, London: Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, USA; Faenza International Ceramic Museum, Italy; National Museums of Scotland, Edinburgh.
