William Crozier HRHA

William Crozier was born at Yoker, Glasgow and studied at GSA (1943-53). Taught at the Central School of Art and latterly at Winchester from where he retired as Head of Fine Art in 1987 to paint full-time. Vibrant colour, striking, sophisticatedly-simplified design and an idiosyncratic paint texture characterise his landscape work. Also shows with huge success in Ireland where he spends part of his time. Major exhibition at SNGMA in 1995.
